“Pins & Wheels at Playland in Austin is a fantastic entertainment venue offering a variety of activities for all ages. As a local who has been coming to Playland Skate since the eighties, I can say that Pins & Wheels kept everything nostalgic that I loved about Playland Skate but brought it into modern times. Pins & Wheels features roller skating, bowling, axe throwing, a large arcade, VR experiences, and even a private karaoke room. It is amazing for large groups and priced well under most entertainment venues in Austin. It is my go-to event spot for great food, great entertainment, and a great bar.”

“We hosted a team member appreciation event at Pins & Wheels at Playland this April and we could not have been more pleased with the experience.  From the moment we reached out, Stephanie and Adrienne were amazing partners – they were friendly, responsive and eager to earn our business. The entire P&W team worked diligently in the planning stages and throughout our event to ensure our needs were met.  Stephanie volunteered to manage our check-in process, which was a considerable undertaking with over 600 attendees, but she handled it seamlessly.  It was such a relief to my team to not be bogged down with this process – we were able to mingle with our team members and supplier partners and have some fun ourselves!  Head Chef Rick and his kitchen team were incredible. They did an excellent job keeping the buffet table full and they checked in with me constantly to discuss refill strategies.  I really appreciated their mindfulness of our budget. We had an army of other P&W team members there to help run our event, including Violet, Holden, Claudia and Laura, and they couldn’t have been more on top of things. It was impeccably clean and all the amenities were easy to use.  From bowling to roller skating to axe throwing to virtual reality, our attendees had a blast exploring the wide assortment of venue activities. 

In all my years of event planning, I’ve never had a venue go above and beyond the way the Pins & Wheels team did – they are a cut above the rest!”
